What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Saved checks: the menu items, prices, costs, channels, and settings you enter and save inside the app.
• Billing data: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment provider (Paddle). We do not store your card details.
• Support messages: if you email us, we keep your message so we can reply.
• Basic technical data: standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

• To provide the calculator and your saved checks.
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To respond to support requests.
• To detect abuse and keep the service secure.
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers we need to run the product:

• Hosting and database infrastructure.
• Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, for sale of subscriptions, billing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Email delivery for transactional emails (e.g. password resets).
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your saved checks with other users.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. If we add analytics, it will be limited to aggregate usage information to improve the product.

Data retention

We keep your account data and saved checks for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
